March 6, 2014 – Developers have always needed to deal with intellectual property and licensing issues. Open source software is simply an extension of this but it has become more important because of the impact and popularity of platforms like Linux. The Open Invention Network (OIN) is an organization that addresses these issues. I spoke with Keith Bergelt, CEO of OIN, about its mission.
